Disclaimer: NGW is owned by Chibi, Gw Is owned by Japan...dang, I don't own a damn thing do I? Oh wait...I own some characters, including a few of the ones portrayed here. But I won't tell you which ones... You haven't earned that... I hate time travel.... By Nanami Tendo Celestine Tied the shoelaces on her knee high combat boots. Looking up, she sees two people standing in the doorway looking mildly annoyed. She sighs and a vauge hint of exasperation can be seen in her silver eyes. Brushing a bluish hair out of her face, she stands and smiles. Celestine: Well, I'm all set. Young girl: You're really going then? Celestine: Yes. I have to. I've let it go too long. Young man: Just what do you wish to acomplish? Celestine: I just want to stop him from inventing the damn thing. So much pain...so much abuse, Just because of something so stupid as that. Now do you understand? Tempest? Windy? Tempest nods though Celestine can tell he really doens't understand. Winy however, will not be so easilly quieted... Windy: But if you do that, you won't be able to come back because your equipment will disapear!! Celestine: Well, then I'll just have to make due and live there, won't I? Windy: But how can you expect us to just wave and say "good luck!" Knowing we're never going to see you again! Dangit, at least take us with you!! Celestine: What!? No way!! You guys wouldn't last two days before you'd be whining about how you miss your parents or your syblings...I don't have those, so I'll be fine. Tempest: What about us though? You'd miss us wouldn't you? Celestine: *sigh* of course I will but... Windy: But nuthin. You can't stop us from comming with you and I can't stand the thought of you being trapped in the past alone! Celestine: *sigh* You two don't really mean to come with do you? Tempest and Windy: *nod* Celestine: Well fine then. But you have to realize, there's no going back for us. Our future selves won't be able to go back in time to stop us. Our future is gone. Tempest: Don't worry, we understand the risk as much as you do. Windy: Do you think we'll see our great grandparents when they were young? Celestine: Who knows...The world is a big place. But remember Windy, if we do, it doesn't matter how young they are, how cute they may be... they still our ancestors. Okay? Windy: Hey...I know that! Tempest: I seem to recall you being attracted to one of our cousins once... Windy: Only cause I didn't we were related!! I stoped after I found out!! I hope they still have hentai-girl back then... Celestine: As long as there's technology and teenagers, there will be hentai mags... Windy: Woohoo! I'm ready then! Tempest and Celestine: *sweatdrop* Celestine: Are you sure she's your sister? Tempest: two minutes apart. Celestine: And she's the older one.... Tempest: yep. Celestine: I see... Tempest: *changing the subject* Well, we'd better get going before Lance and the others find out what we're up to. Celestine: Of course. The three of them head out into a freezing winter night. Using snow mobiles to get to the area Celestine had decided on before... A secluded clearing. There they set up various machines, none of them very large. When turned on, the machines create a doorway effect 6 feet tall and 3 feet wide. Celestine doesn't even look back, she just charges ahead through the gateway and disapears. Windy and Tempest just have to look back one last time, their brown hair matted down with snowflakes, a look of sad determination in their violet eyes. They solomnley turn and follow Celestine through the portal, and it closes behind them, forever. At the other end of the gateway, the three of them squint in the sudden sunlight. It's not only daylight, but now suddenly it's summertime. Celestine had been expecting this, so had endured the short time in the freezing weather so the she could arrive in camo pants and a white tank top. The other two however, where sweating like pigs... Windy: You *knew* didn't you!? Dangit, why didn't you warn us? Celestine: You didn't ask. Tempest and Windy: *facefault* Tempest: Where are we anyway? Celestine: We're on the L1 colony. He's not here. he's on earth. We'll need to take a shuttle. Windy: Why'd we travel to this location then? Celestine: Because, there's so much technology here, our electronic signature will be lost in the din and no anomolies from our time machine will be picked up. Also, there's the matter of a certain person on earth who would have dectected us imeadiately. Tempest: I think I know who you're talking about. Windy: Who? WHO??? Celestine: Nevermind. Lets go find a shuttle. Windy: Why do we have to take a shuttle? Tempest: Because matter converters haven't been invented yet. Windy: What!? You mean no teleportation!? Tempest: nope. Windy: But that means...we'll have to spend hours on a shuttle...in bordom...with nothing to do....NOOOOOOOooooooooooo!!!! This era sucks!! Celestine: Can you complain quietly please? people are staring.. Windy: *sigh* It's not fair....hmm, I'm hungry. They do still have fast food in this era, right!? Celestine: Yes. They still have fast food. *turns to tempest* And, you're the boy? Tempest: Yep. Celestine: *shakes her head* I don't get it...I just don't get it... Tempest: Neither do I. So the three of them head into a deli located inside the shuttle station. The Deli features a "build your own supersub" station, little do the store managers know what they have unleashed upon themselves... Tempest and Celestine make average foot long subs, but Windy, she decides to go for a 3 footer. The store clerks stare in awe as a girl who only looks about 16 piles on more and more sandwhich ingreadiants, not to mention the condoments, and then, to top it all off, she grabs three or four bags of chips and a huge soda. carrying everything over to the table, Windy sits down and digs in. Tempest: I'd sure like to know which of our anscestors she got her apetite from...*sips on his soda thoughtfully* Celestine: If you found them what would you do? Tempest: *grin* I'd smack the crap out of them for giving us such screwed up genes. Celestine laughs a little bit and they both look over and notice that Windy finished her 3 footer and made another one to take with. following her lead, they each make they're own sandwhiches for the road and attempt to pay the clerks, who insist that they can have the sanwhiches for free since Windy's eating scene attracted more buisness. They rushed off to the shuttle station after that (well, that and a brief interlude where they bought lighter clothing so that they could stop sweating.) They bought three tickets and claimed three seats next to each other so they wouldn't be separated. Windy took the window seat and Celestine sat in the middle. And the long, borring journey to Earth began. For the most part, everyone slept durring the trip down. Celestine took out her laptop and started collecting info on the target and where he may be at the moment. She then closed it up and took out a book to read. As an afterthought, she realized that she was the only one of them who could read on trips without getting motion sickness. That made her smile slightly. When they landed, The three of them got off the shuttle and bought a map. Tempest and Windy weren't surprised to know that Celestine already knew where they needed to go, so without further delay it was off to the Sanq Kingdom to find their target. After having to spend more of their money on a cab, they finally arrived at their destination. Windy was of course excited to see all the historical landmarks actually being used instead of just as museums. And Tempest found it interesting to know that the kingdoms P.I. offices in their time, are an Icecream parlor in this era. They all had to share a hotel room to conserve what was left of their money, and that night, they discussed what would be happening. Tempest: What will we do after we find your target Celes? Celestine: Well, we won't be able to go back, so we'll have to find jobs and a place to live here. Windy: Ugh...jobs? But I dun wanna flip burgers!! Tempest: You act like thats the only job there is... Windy: No...but it's probly the only one I'm qualified for! Celestine: She has a point. Tempest: True, true. So where is our target? Celestine: At this point in history he's living in a log cabin outside of the city limits. He's already doing his "research" on time, But most people don't know about it because they all think he's insane. He's very reclusive, and I doubt anyone would notice if we took him out in this particular time frame. Windy: Are you really sure this is what you want to do though? There's still time for us to just go home and forget this whole thing? Celestine: Why? So people can continue to go back and forth through time, rewriting history to suit their wants and needs, never caring about the consequences of such meddling. At this point, who knows if the history we read about in class is even the one that was really supposed to happen. They were all silent then, and after a few moments they decided it would be best if they went to sleep, because tomorrow was going to be a big day, to say the least. The next day.... Triage: 'Ruka are you sure this is the time to be doin this? I mean, should we be lookin for Shingo or something? Haruka: This is the perfect time to do this. I need to think and I haven't egged creepy dudes house in like...months. Triage: Well, okay if you say so. Besides, who am I to turn down a chance for egging... Haruka: Thats the spirit, now come on, it's just up ahead. The remaining hentai twosome follow a narrow path through the forest toward a log cabin. Unbeknownst to them (but knownst to us. O.O) Three other people are also heading in that direction, but with a completely different purpose. They stop moving and become very still when they see the pair of boys and take cover. Celestine: Crap what are they doing here? Tempest: Well, you said he wasn't very well liked right now. And I bet those eggs aren't to loan to him for a cake. Windy: Ooohh...I like cake. Tempest: *thwap* Windy: ooowwwww.... Celestine: Great, no we have to wait until they leave. Tempest: *gets out a magazine and a candybar* Celestine: *sigh* It just figures something like this would happen. damnit all, I'm not waiting.*gets up in a flash and is gone* Tempest: Celes, wait..oh shit. this can't be good. *drops his things and takes off after her* damn her super human speed... Windy: Hey..wait for me! *gets up as well* Haruka: *sees a flash out of the corner of his eye and what appears to be two people following it* Hey what was that? Triage: I dunno but it looks like somethings going on over there. Haruka: Lets go check it out. Triage: Right. The two follow the other people around to the back of the house and into the now open back door. When they get there they see a tall slender young girl with long, straight blue-ish silver hair and sliver eyes pointing a gun at the guy they knew only as "that creepy dude" The other two had had their own weapons but they weren't drawn. They did however, prevent the two boys from approaching the other girl. Haruka: Whats going on here? Tempest: Nothing for you to be concerned about. You should probably leave. Triage: But she's going to kill that guy. At least tell us something. Is he a murderer? A terrorist? Is he trying to start a war? Celesitne: All and none. He's He's not the perpetraitor, but he is the cause. And he needs to be taken down. The two boys were confused, but the man just smiled sadly and nodded. Then she fired and he fell limp to the ground. A dart resembling a tranq stuck out of his neck. Haruka: What was that? You put him to sleep? Celestine: No, I killed him. I used leathal injection. Quick and nearly painless, were it not for the small sting of the needle going in. Now we need to go. Everyone started to leave except for Windy, who was busy rigging up wires and occationally cackling. Then she runs out too and they all get to a safe distance before Windy pushes a button and demolishes the cabin and all of it's contense. After the wreckage cooled Celestine went back in to make sure that all traces of the research were destroyed and there were no hidded cellars that escaped the blast and might still contain research material. After that she turned to go. Haruka and Triage stared at them as they left, and then ran after them. Triage: Hey, where are you guys going? Haruka: And more importantly where are you from? Tempest: We're going back to our hotel. As to where we're from, I don't think you need to know that. Haruka: *whips out a gun as does Triage* I think we do. Tempest: You don't want to do that. Before they can ask why Celestine is behind Haruka with his own gun in her hand. She aims it at him and swings him around toward Triage. Triage: *putting his gun away and raising his hands submisivley* Hey now, we didn't mean any trouble ya know... Celestine: You shouldn't go around threatening strangers and their friends. We're not enemies and I'd rather not change that fact. *lets Haruka go* Haruka stumbles forward at the sudden relese and discovers that she also returned his firearm without his noticing. That was unsettling to say the least. But he chose not to ask about it. Windy: So can we eat now? I mean, we're stuck here we may as well go get some food. Tempest: Is that all you ever think about? Windy: Nooo...I think about boys and explosives too... Everyone else: *sweatdrop* Celestine: Well, you've become caught up in this, so I suppose it won't hurt to answer a few questions. It's not like you'll belive what you hear anyway. Haruka leads them back to the apartment he's currently sharing with Duet. She just gives him an odd look as he enters but decides not to say anything. Then everyone sits down in a circle on the floor and Celestine began to relate the tale of where they were from and how it came to be that she would go through the trouble that she went to to do what she did. Celestine: So you see, to clear up this historical mistake, I took it upon myself to travel back in time and stop time travel from ever being achieved. Haruka: *sweatdrop* I...I see. It was then that Haruka explained their situation starting from the time of Hidama and his supposed death the the current trouble with Shingo and the living Zero system. Celestine and the others listened carefully to what he had to say and when he was finished, Celestine thought for a few moments and then nodded to her companions decisively. Triage: What? What was that about? Windy: Well, it's just that we may be able to help your friend. Celes can...I mean she's uhmm..speacial, ya know? Duet: *speaking up for the first time* What do you mean, "speacial"? Tempest: heheh, *sweatdrop* She's just an acceptional student is all. And she's really good with machinery and problem solving. Haruka: Sounds to me like theres something you don't want to tell us... Celestine: *eyes the honey-blonde haired boy for a moment and then stands up to go back to their hotel room* My secrets guard themselves, May yours do the same. Windy: Anyway, do you have a place where we could set up a hostpital bed? Someplace where we could set up machines and monitors? Haruka: Well, Shingo's Dad has a Gundam Hangar, would that work? Windy: Oh that would be great! By the way..is there any chance we might possibly get to maybe see an actual Gundam up close? Haruka: I don't know...I guess maybe. Celestine: Then I'll set everything up there. Of course, you'll have to get this..Shingo for us. Can you do that? Duet: Well, it won't be easy, But I'm pretty sure he still trusts Michiru and probably Ariel too, so maybe if we can get them to distract him or something, we might be able to get him. Haruka: I'll need Mill's help for this too. Shingo may be short, but he ain't light. Tempest: Good, you do that, and we'll meet at the designated area in two days. Triage: If you say so. Windy: By the way, whats the last name of Mr.Shingo's Father? Haruka: Huh? Oh it's Winner. Do you need the address? Tempest: *grin* No, we can find it. Haruka: Well, if you say so. And with that, the three misplaced time travelers left Haruka and the others to get their plans underway. Exactly two days later: They dragged the unconsious boy into the Gundam Hanger Control room of the Winner Mansion on Earth. A table had been set up there, but that was only a waystation. Haruka and Milliardo Yuy lifted the boy onto the table and strapped him in. Turning, they saw Michiru and Ariel (On loan from America for Spring Break) And thanked them. Michiru: Are you sure this is right? I mean...you know... Ariel: Well, I must say it worked better than I thought it would. I guess it's just easier for him to let his guard down around us. He really never noticed you guys Michiru: Or the vases you two had in your hands...haha...couldn't you have found something a little more "manly" to hit him with? Haruka: Hey, we can't help it if you don't keep baseball bats or shovels in your apartment. Why didn't you just make cookies with sleeping powder in them or something? Michiru: Because like that story you told me about him and the tea, you'd have eaten them and knocked yourself out before he even got here. Milliardo: Heh, She has a point there 'Ruka. Haruka: Shut up! Duet: Can we stop This please? We gotta hurry up with this before he wakes up. Haruka: I dunno man, are you sure this will work? And come to think of it, I don't even know what exactly we're going to do to him. Another woman enters the room now, her long blue-ish sliver hair flowing lightly behind her. She turns her silver eyes over to the table, then she looks at the other people standing around. Milliardo: Oh, Celestine you're here. Celestine: Is that the person you were talking about? Milliardo: Yes. That is Shingo. Or whats left of him, after the Zero System and the kidnapping and the cloning not to mention the initial shock of seeing his best friend blown to bits wich was the start of it all. Celestine: I see. *Turns to Haruka* And what did he see? How did the Zero System "talk" to him? Haruka: He saw...himself. Celestine: Thats bad. Loved ones can do a certain amount of manipulation but 'that'.... Milliardo: What do you mean? Haruka: Yeah, whats so bad about seeing yourself? Celestine: Well, when you see your loved ones it means that you have someone that you confide in, someone you belive in, and while they do have some sway over the descisions you make, it's always possible to snap you out of it eventually. This Shingo person saw himself, that means that he doesn't have faith in anyone. Not even the people he loves. And while you can close your ears to the manipulations of others, You can't ignore the lies that come from within. You can't ignore those manipulations because they come from your own subconsious, and you know the saying, "wherever you go, there you are." Basically the Zero system shows you your enemies, but when it shows you yourself, it means that you are your own worst enemy. Haruka: Woah..deep. Milliardo: So how do we get him back? Celestine: First you need to wheel him out into the hangar. I've finished the preparations. They take him down into the Hangar where several machines have been set up. Wheeling him over to them, Celestine is somehow there before them and getting ready to hook the boy up. Duet: What is that? Celestine: It's the Zero System. Ariel: WHAT!? You're not going to hook him up to THAT thing again!! Celestine: Relax. Ariel: Re..RELAX!? How can I relax when you're going to Refry his brain!!!? Celestine: Calm down, relax, or I will have you removed from the viscinity. Ariel:... Without further protest, Celestine hooked the machinery up to Shingo's unconsious body. She then took some cords and hooked them up to herself. Sitting down in a chair next to Shingo's body, her eyes half-closed and she seemed to go into a trance. Shingo's finger twitched once, but no- one noticed. Everyone sat down in chairs or on the floor to watch and wait, ready to pull the cords if anything seemed wrong. A wide expanse of blackness surrounded Celestine. She waited patiently. Then, a room began to form around her. Celestine whatched it take shape. hard wood floors, cream colored walls, a few pictures here and there. Celestine recognized it instantly as a training dojo. She cracked a smile. Celestine: *thinking* Humans are so easy to hack into. This must be the first "firewall". As she looked around she realized that she was now dressed in a Gi and it didn't take long for a figure to appear before her. Another female dressed in her own Gi. Her Brown hair almost covering one of her green eyes. She bowed politely to Celestine, who also bowed. Then the two got into martial arts fighting stances. Celestine sighs and moves to the side as Firewall Ariel charges toward her. Celestine: Ah-ah Firewall Ariel, you should be more carefull. Without a second wasted Celestine flashes over to the Firewall Ariel and hits a pressure point to knock her out. She falls to her knees and looks up at the strange girl. "Forgive me Shingo" then she turns into a white myst and was blown away in a sudden gust of wind along with the rest of the scene. Celestine was in darkness again. She turned around to see that she was now on the campus of the peacecraft Academy, right before the front steps. In the distance, she could see people who looked like they should be walking somewhere by their poses, but no one was moving. It looked like Autumn, the beginning of the school year. Celestine heard footsteps and looked at the front stairs, where she saw the boy she knew as Haruka standing there with a gun and a pair of sunglasses. She thought this was a rather simple defense. Firewall Haruka fired his gun and she dodged it easily. The firewall looked startled, aparently he wasn't expecting anything like her to come along. But while he was busy being startled, Celestine was getting past his defenses and all it took was one good punch in the stomach to send him to the floor. The glasses fell off and he disapeared while lying on the floor holding his stomach. His only comment "K'so..." Celestine thought about how hard it would probably be for a normal human to get this far. As the darkness closed in again, she wondered what was next and was mildly surprised to find herself inside a Gundam cockpit. She looked out at the landscape around her, no wait..not a landscape, a moonscape. She sees a light come towards the cockpit, then she sees another gundam jump in front of it. The Gundam turns to shrapnel and a little green light turns on in the lower corner of one of the monitors. Celestine looks down at the light and notices that it's text which reads "Z2PT" Celestine smiles. Celestine: Ah...so there you are. I was wondering when I'd get your attention. The Gundam cockpit swirls into angry myst which leaves her in the darkness but doesn't dissapear. Instead it rushes a few feet in front of her and coaleses into the form of a 17 year old boy dressed in a black T-shirt,black jeans, and a pair of black tennis shoes. His light blue eyes stare at her with a look of cold confusion. He almost seems.. angry. Boy: You usually don't get this far. That image of your friends death is usually enough to cow you. Wait...you aren't Shingo. Who are you? How did you get here? Celestine: So then, you must be Firewall Zero. Firewall Zero: What? Wait..you're a foreign consiousness...no...no you're a..a program!? But, but how can that be? You can't be the Zero system, cause I'm the zero system, any zero system I was connected to would recognize and accept me as itself because thats what I am. So what are you!? Celestine: You're right, I'm not you. I am Celestine. I am the oposite of you. You are a human who locked his soul away. I am a machine who found mine. *walks calmly toward Zero* Firewall Zero: *a look of fear slowly forming on his face* What are you doing? Why are you here? Celestine: I'm here for Shingo. Celestine notices that Zero is slowly shrinking..no, not shrinking, On a second look she realized that he was getting younger. By the time he stopped, he looked like a boy of the age of about six. Celestine bent down to look at him as he sat on the ground hugging his knees to his body. Celestine: You're not really Zero though are you. You're a Firewall set up to protect Shingo. Firewall Zero: You're right. Zero isn't here anymore. When they cloned Shingo They used the Z2PT to rip him out of Shingo's body and place him in the empty shell they had created for him. When he was first created durring the battle with Seiben, he was okay. But he got angry when they found out Haruka was alive. He didn't want to share Shingo with anyone. So he told Shingo that they were lieing to him, and that Haruka was really dead. He told Shingo that he was the only one Shingo could trust. But then the people came and wanted to remove him from Shingo and put him in a different body. There was a lot of pain then, cause Zero didn't want to go. He kicked and screamed and though in the end he couldn't resist the gravity of the empty shell that needed a soul, he managed to take a little peice of Shingo's soul with him. Like a child with a teddy bear, he clings to it still. Shingo's soul has healed since then, because souls regenerate over time as long as there's at least a peice of them left. Celestine: I wonder then, how much Zero's soul has grown in the interem. Firewall Zero: Not too much I think. Cause he doesn't want the pain that comes with being a feeling, caring human being. Celestine: I see. I'm going to see Shingo now. Firewall Zero: I know. I can't stop you. Celestine sees a door in front of her. On the front of it is a piece of white paper taped to it with the words "Shingo's pad" written in sloppy green crayon. She turns the knob, and enters a playground. There's a sandbox, and a swing set, a slide and a jungle gym. A boy is sitting in the sandbox building what looks like a sand castle. He's wearing a green T-shirt and blue jeans with little white tennis shoes. He looks about six years old. Celestine aproaches cautiously, but the boy just looks up and grins widely. Boy: Hello! Celestine: Hello. Whats your name? Boy: My name is Shingo. Whats yours? Celestine: It's Celestine. Shingo: Cele...Clea...uhmm... Celestine: How about just Celes? Shingo: Okay Celes! What are you doing here? Do you like the park? Celestine: Yes, I like the park a lot. But what are you doing here all by yourself Shingo? Shingo: I'm waiting. Celestine: For what? Shingo: I'm waiting for 'Ruka an Zero to come an play with me. Celestine: But it's getting late, shouldn't you go home? Shingo: No, I have to wait for them. Celestine: Why? Shingo: Cause they're having a argooment right now an I have to wait till they make up. Celestine: What are they arguing about? Shingo: Beats me. When they come to play again I'll ask them. Celestine: Shingo are you hungry? Shingo: Boy am I!! I feel like it's been forever since I had anythin ta eat! Celestine: Well, why don't you come with me then. I'll take you to where you can get some nice food and something to drink. And there's lots of nice people there waiting to play with you. Shingo: Really? Like who? Celestine: Well, there's a girl named Ariel there. Shingo: Ariel...I know her. She's an angel. Celestine: An angel huh? Shingo: Yup. Cause she can walk on high places and do back flips and things and she'll never ever ever die! And she the most prettiest person ever! Celestine: I see. Well then, come with me, and we'll go see her. Shingo: But..what if something happens to me? It's scarey out there. I don't want anyone to hurt me..out there. Celestine: I won't let anyone hurt you. I promise. Shingo: Really? Celestine: Yep, or my name isn't Celestine Peacecraft. Shingo: You have the same last name as 'Rukas mean older cousin. Celestine: Well I'm sorry about that then. Shingo: It's okay, I can tell you're not mean. Celestine blinks in surprise and then the two head out of the door she entered through. The light is blinding, and she holds little Shingo's hand tightly as she forges foreward. Blinking Celestine realized that she was sitting in the chair again, looking around at the other people who had all noticed her return to activity, she removes the cords from her body and unhooks the machines from Shingo as well, then, they all just wait. After a few moments, Shingo slowly opens his eyes and looks around. Then he tries to get up. Shingo: Wtf!? Hey why am I tied down? What am I frankenstein? *blinks* Haruka? Dude...I though you were dead or somethin! Haruka: *facefaults* Don't you remember anything thats happened since then? Shingo: Huh? No..should I? I remember I was depressed for a while... But hey...Now that your back, what do I have to be depressed about? Ariel: Celestine, is it okay to uhmm...unstrap him? Celestine: Yes, I think it should be okay. The rest of his memories may or may not come back, it seems, for the time being, that it's better if they stay locked away in there. They Unstrap Shingo and he stands up. He rubs his head as an after- thought and complained how it felt like someone hit him on the head with a vase (much to Haruka and Milliardo's chargrin) But after that, it was all about the food. He draged Ariel with him and she was more than a little sad that he didn't remember her breaking up with him for good. But kind of happy too, since he seemed to be his old self again. Celestine whatched them all file out of the room and started to follow them. Shingo turned back and looked at her, and came back to get a better look. Shingo: Do I know you? Celestine: I'm...a new arrival. I haven't been here very long. It happened durring your blanked out period. Shingo: Oh..I see. Well, nice to meet you then. uhmm...what's you name? Celestine: It's Celestine. Shingo: Oh. *thinking* why does that sound so familiar? *out loud* Well I'm Shingo, welcome to our crazy little group! *grin* Celestine:...*smile* A week later on the last day of their hotel rental.... Tempest: Damn, our time's almost up and we still haven't found jobs OR a new place to live. How are we supposed live if we can't find work? Just then, Windy bursts through the door of the hotel, causing Celestine to look up and Tempest to jump 3 feet in the air. Tempest: Don't DO that!! Celestine: What have you got for us? Tempest: You're just not surprised by anything are you? Celestine: Generally, no. Windy: *jumping up and down with excitement* There's an add in the paper, someone needs a body guard, a butler, and a maid!! Tempest: Well, we know who gets the body guard job. *looking over at Celestine* Windy: Yep, and I wanna be the butler!! Tempest: Of course, so that all you have to do is open the door and announce whoevers there, right? Windy: *nod nod* Tempest: Great...I'm going to be a maid...*sigh* Windy: And you know what the best part is? Tempest: What ever could it be oh sister of mine? Windy: The job comes with on site room and board and health benefits!! Tempest: Woah really!? You gotta be kidding me! *grabs the paper from her and reads through the ad* Dang, what are we waiting for lets go!! A few miles and about 30 minutes later.... Celestine: Well...surprise surprise... Tempest: I can't belive this.... Windy:... The three stand at the frond gate of the Winner mansion, waiting to be let in for their interveiw. Eventually the gates open and they are allowed on the premises (again). Quatre was more than a little surprised to see them, but after reviewing their creadentials he decided to give them the jobs. Luckily they didn't have much stuff to move since they had packed lightly for their trip from the future. Shingo was thrilled to have such a "hot" bodyguard, and Windy found out that her butler job also included driving Quatre and sometimes Dorothy when they needed to go somewhere that didn't require a plane. Occationally they missed the one's they left behind, but they knew the choice they were making when they left, and they didn't complain. -- the end -- Well, how was that? I dreamed part of this one night and I had to write it in, I think it all turned out really well though. Anyway, questions? Comments? Slander?
