Shen's a little annoying when he acts tuff but becomes extreamly cute when he tries to get Trina to notice him. Shen is obviously in love with Trina even if she doesn't realize it yet. He has lived with his father since his mother was killed when he was three and has been 'training' for the past ten years to become the best gundam pilot among the others. Unfortunately even after all of his effort to impress his father he's failed and has come to hate him as much as Ling hates him. Ling believes that Shen was the reason he was unable to save Sydney in time and thus placed him under harsh training on purpose (aka: cuts, brusies, ect).
