Kitty Kat, as most have nicknamed him, doesn't seem to really have any purpose in the beginning of the story except annoy his "one and only love", Rena. Unfortuntely for us Quat is as imature as a five year old but wants to pretend he's older than he currently is. Why Quat doesn't pilot SandStorm or really fight any is because of numorous promisses he's made in the past to several people, the most important ones comming from Shingo and Quatre, that he feels oblogated to honor as much as he hates to. He's still afraid of the dark, doesn't really like to be alone anywhere, and most definately doesn't like to be around Acht. Where everyone else is only able to see the living Quat is able to see the dead. What kind of ghosts? Who has he seen floating around the place? Who really knows, he doesn't like to talk about it. Quat also has a phobia around SandStorm mainly because he would claim it has a evil spirit that lives inside of it.
