After she and Duo were taken to the Maxwell Church, they were adopted out to Dr. Evange Torlion. She kept Jade, but returned Duo because he was out of control. She saw Duo once more when she was 11. He was getting ready to steal a Mobile Suit, and she was getting ready to move to a different Colony, where she would spend the next seven years training to use the Experimental Gundam called Silverlight. After her training was complete, she received a letter from her brother inviting her to Earth to visit him. She went to the meeting place (He was late) and she agreed to stay with her little brother. She later married Trowa Barton, and they had a beautiful Daughter named Ariel. When Ariel was two, Jade was shot down on a mission. They didn't find her body, and she was MIA for fifteen years. During her first year of absence as she was working on repairing her Gundam, she discovered she was pregnant. Six months later, she gave birth to paternal twins Nova and Triage Barton. They were raised in the third world country she crash landed in. ("Third World" being nothing above 20th century technology) And it was due to them that it took fifteen years to finish repairing Silverlight enough to get them home. But she is a bit more mature, especially where her children are concerned. She doesn't try to exert too much authority over Ariel, however.
